Pet Portraits

           Isolating Artist is a project I started at the beginning of the Covid-19 lock-down period.

Since I live by myself, with only my dog for company, it became apparent pretty early on that she was my social distancing 'ignorer', and I appreciated it hugely.

With this in mind I set out to offer pet portraits to my local community. Armed with a couple of unimaginative text only posters, I received an overwhelming number of enquiries.

I have been inundated with tales of tails, and learnt how reliant people had become on the distraction their pet has brought them. 

It has, and still is giving me great pleasure to create these pieces for other pet owners.

Bri works in a variety of mediums - Including pencil, pastel, watercolour, gouache, acrylic and oils. Examples of which can be seen in the gallery below - Along with the reference photos she worked from.
